about

Sort of two LPs combined, hence the slash in the title. The Sea was recorded in one weekend back in 2004. Every song started with acid loops and then layered on top of that, was an experiment of sorts. The second half is just other tracks from a similar time period. Final note: Something Funny is Dead is actually a jam session of sorts, one take per instrument, just making each up on the fly, in response to whichever tracks came before. And it features some guest vocals by a certain Gabe Gloden.
